The district is applying for a grant at each building, and we are in need of parent and community feedback to help with writing and applying for these competitive grants. Today GMS 6th and 7th graders explored a variety of STEAM stations from Mobile Ed productions. Students made connections to curriculum, careers, and just had some good ole fashion fun exploring through play.
On Friday, 6th graders wrapped up National FFA Week with a cross curricular assignment where they made connections between Agricultural careers and math. Students brought in their prior knowledge and skills from grade 6 math and compared them to how they would be used in the Ag field. They also searched local businesses to stir up ideas and get a better feel for the field. This particular class made connections and presented about Ag Engineering, Horticulture, Agribusiness, and Animal Science. Keep up the great work Falcons!
Excited to announce Coach Clark as Graham's new Head Football Coach! He's a FALCON & his relationships w/ current Student Athletes at the HS & MS creates a solid foundation moving into the upcoming season. More announcements in the upcoming weeks as we build the coaching staff!
@grahamAthletics MS SPG Wrestling Club competed today in the Jr State Dual Championships in Columbus. After a great run with victories over Brecksville, Bishop Hartley, Dublin Coffman, Bishop Watterson. Graham fell to St Eds in the finals to finish RunnerUp in the State.💪🏆💪
The Host Falcon wrestlers took care of business today in a big way! Falcons advanced all 14 wrestlers to the Districts next weekend in Wilmington.

The Falconland Market is open this Sunday, 2/26 from 1-3pm at Graham Elementary School. At the market this week we will have baby carrots, breads, sweet treats, waffles, Bearclaw danishes, Trix cereal (individual cups), sausage, fish, chicken drumsticks, and Bob Evans side dishes in addition to our canned goods.
Deputy Gretchen Lapp and Duke visited GES yesterday!! Duke “shared” his story with students about how he works through being different from others! We learned that since he is a lab, science is his favorite subject!!
Mrs. Lensman’s Enclave class practices job skills by working at the Falconland Market each week and by helping pack the 100 weekend bags of food that go home with students. Students have learned to recycle, empty trash receptacles, unload deliveries, stock shelves, face shelf items, utilize a pallet jack, work under supervision, take coaching feedback, and most importantly work together. Many hands make for light work. We appreciate the help they provide to our school and community and look forward to seeing them employed soon.
GLS and OHP Leaders met today to plan for the new shop expansion. Mr. Curter utilized the shop expansion as a hands-on learning experience for his students by planning and designing the new shop layout. The expanded shop is set to open for the 23-24 school year.
Remember the Career Expo will be open this evening at the fairgrounds in the Activity Bldg until 6 pm!! Our Jrs and Srs had a great time exploring familiar and new businesses, career choices and post/secondary options! Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors of this event!
Lady Falcons punch their ticket to the State Dance with a 3rd place finish at the Districts today! KD was second overall! Both programs headed to state! GREAT JOB Coaches and Student Athletes!!
