Our preschool students had a visit from the Champaign County Master Gardeners last week. The presenter discussed the life cycles of a butterfly and shared a book about them. They donated a book about wild animals in Ohio and will be providing caterpillars to our classrooms!

If you are a reader, it is always time to celebrate Dr. Seuss and the Cat in the Hat at school. Check out these awesome creations by some of our 1st graders!

Preschool is pretty great on a Wednesday!
Painting and exploring insects while we measure and read!

Learning about famous people is a skill that our 2nd graders put into practice by writing facts about Abraham Lincoln.

The 4th grade students in Ms. Johnson’s Language Arts class were busy at centers which focus on skills such as Cause & Effect, Sensory Language, Character Traits, and Text Structures.

The boys in Mrs. Dickerson’s class really enjoy going to P.E. so that they can ride bikes, play with balls, and get a chance to move about the big gym!

Reminder

Students in Mrs. Jacob’s Kindergarten class are busy learning in their stations as they work on independent skills.

Our 2nd grade students appear to have lots of places they would love to visit and travel to as they discover new adventures!

Our first graders have fun in Physical Education classes by practicing hand-eye coordination with striking an object or with balance. Tennis, Pickle Ball, tug of war, balloon play, hockey, and hula hooping are all good for these skills.

Students in Ms. Hager’s 5th grade classes worked on a one point perspective aquarium piece. They used watercolor for the water and colored pencils and markers for the plants and animals.

A continuation of the history of Graham is on display at the elementary building. Do you see anyone from your family or any item that you recognize?
